Just wanted to counter the myth that the old-style Apple Airport Express is limited to 10 users. I'm sure I've had more than that in the past. Today I've had 16 devices connected to one of the older 801.11 B/G Airport Express units.
I'm sure Apple would prefer you to go for the new Airport Extreme base station - which will be faster - but for modest installations, the Airport Express is just fine.
For larger installations, wireless range is usually a problem, so you'd probably want to go for several base stations anyway. Just link them with copper Ethernet - or extend them wirelessly if you can't run cable between them.
